Description:
BEG nasal spray is compounded formulation that includes bactroban (mupirocin), edetate disodium (EDTA), gentamicin. It is a part of the 11-step treatment protocol for biotoxin illness developed by Dr. Shoemaker. The nasal spray is used for treating MARCoNS, an antibiotic-resistant infection.
This formulation includes both antibiotics and a chelating agent. The antibiotic ingredients include bactroban (mupirocin) and gentamicin. The chelating agent is edetate disodium (EDTA). The EDTA removes the biofilm so the two antibiotic ingredients can attack the infection.
Typical instructions for use are to use 1-2 sprays in each nostril 3 times per day for 30 days.
